I actually... felt a little let down by the ending, almost, even though it was a good conclusion I guess. I think at that point I had gotten attached enough to Shiro that it actually hurt when he stopped being Shiro and went back to being full-time Hime. They were just... different characters to me almost at that point. I found myself near the conclusion hoping that it would do something I've never seen a manga do, and have the character realize "instead of chasing my childhood dream that might not be realistic in the end, I think I'm happy now," following along with what Yamada said in his note he put over Shiro's goal note in Chapter 68, on page 31 (http://vatoto.com/reader#5773a1627345b640_31) about not thinking about goals and just being happy.
I guess I just feel like over the course of the manga, Hime's dream from the beginning got overshadowed with all of the good things happening to her as Shiro, and when the ending suddenly went back to that, which hadn't really been mentioned much, it was a little jarring.
How do you guys feel about it all?
