This has been bugging me for a long time now. Saitama knows how powerful exactly he himself is. He knows how much power he has to use to flip a city sized indutrial facility. He knows how much power he has to use to deflect a planet buster beam attack and how much power he needs to knock on genos' head without bursting his whole body open. That means he knows how much power he himself holds. But someone can know his own limit only after trying it at least once.

What I'm trying to say is that, sometime in between those three years Saitama has to have used his full power somewhere on something/someone. The first thing we saw was vaccine man and that wasn't a serious punch. So...when did he used his full power? Is One gonna show anything more from Saitama's past or is it just gonna get ignored because this is a gag manga? Any thoughts on this...?

Never gonna happen, simply because the concept of "full power" doesn't apply to Saitama. The gag of the series is that he has no limits. Why everyone keeps asking just how powerful Saitama really is, is baffling me. it's like every anime reviewer asking when we'll see someone give him a challenge. If that would happen it would go against the whole premise of the manga.

Saitama broke his limiter. He literally has no limit. So he can't go "full power" because there is no limit to his power.

I doubt Saitama knows exactly how powerful he is. He knows he's strong, but the thing is, he's never had an opponent who can take more than one punch until Boros. And he only managed to survive because of his people's abilities to regenerate part of their bodies in seconds.

But, you don't need to know the limits of your strength to know how much strength to use to punch someone without killing them.

Dr. Genus is explaining Saitama's source of power, he never met Garou. Also, Garou is the one who broke his limiter (he can evolve and improve, but the limiter is still there).

I don't think he does "understand" his powers and it's limits or what it even is. Might be part of the reason why he's looking for a good fight and being disappointed all the time cause some part of him might want to understand himself more. I see him and his power as something a bird can do with flight. A bird doesn't know why or how it got wings, but it's made to fly and will quickly pick it up. But that's just the way I see it. There's no actual evidence in anything I've seen to prove anything at this point. The story is still young.

Okay, let us say you are in a game. Somehow you managed to gain access to the command "delete entity", thus making it so that you can win over anyone. This does however not really tell you anything about the maximum "strength" of the command, because it will always be enough to do whatever you want it to (as long as it falls within the given parameters, as in it cannot create but only delete).

What this manga is about is a guy who managed to acquire such a power, who manages to always have enough to achieve victory with one punch. He is not strong, because the concept simple does not apply to him. He just is, and will continue to be.

Does anyone know of a children's book containing a cannibal pirate captain who tricks a priest into eating his own servant? I know it exists, but have forgotten the name.

Well, at least it seemed to me, that people were pretty disappointed at the limiter cop out. Don't rule out future chapters revealing more info on dubious and important figures in this universe at least regarding how "limit" is defined in this universe(God, the organization, future villains/heroes).
