So I mentioned in my introduction (hint hint) that I'm looking for a certain basketball manga. I first picked it up in a Chinese bookstore, but since it's closed, I can't really find it anymore.
It was about the story of a young boy who loves basketball, especially dunking despite his really really short stature. His two greatest treasures are basketball and his shoes that I remember he got from his dad, who is this huge-ass giant that also plays basketball. What really made this manga special was how wacky basketball got. At first it started with one-on-one showdowns with a slew of characters on weird stages like on sand and in crowded buildings. Then it got even crazier as he began to amass some friends: an equally short guy with a pompadour, a large bully, and a nervous guy who got brainwashed into becoming a bad-ass bad guy in one arc. Games included teamates being tied together, battling bats in basketball, and a really cool game where they were on this floating platform that would slowly lose pieces. There were even cameos like Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan.
If anyone has any information, please. This was, to me, the best basketball manga I've ever read.

I wanna guess Ahiru no Sora
there are a couple of other options though because in this one he got his shoes from his mother, and I don't remember a sand match
