There's "last chapter viewed" when you go to 'my follows' -> 'follows by comic'
And what about "no follow"? Cuz that follow system is not good when the list is long.

Use bookmarks.
As somebody that uses bookmarks, past the 25-30 series mark it gets to be more of a hassle than it's worth. I even sorted them all into proper folders/categories and it still just wasn't worth it.

For slow manga I use MU lists. This userscript can embed MU links into batoto, and vice versa.
For ongoings - personal RSS (can be found there) + inoreader.com = queue with notifications.

There are multiple alternatives, but I still believe using an external anime/manga list website is the best way to record progress on a long run.

Back on topic, wasn't this part of the follows overhaul? It's in phase 3 right? So it IS a planned feature, just... don't know how far out >.<

Yes, many people have asked for this feature but I'm guessing Grumpy has other things to do than this.
I personally use MU for my manga lists

Nice! But how about temporary add "a:visited #hexcolor" for now? Its easy, just 1 tiny css.

Thank you for this. Will now consider using batoto over kissmanga 
so annoying that this literally got added as i moved all my follows/bookmarks to kissmanga like literally this week lol
