Well, the point of the thing is more to improve skills and habit than inking in specific, so I think markers, paint or even nail polish would be counted just fine.

Now that I have a nephew who I take of three or four times a week, it's making me truly appreciate how much my dad and mom had to go through raising me and all my siblings.

Concept for an old idea. Decided not to complete it as a pencil drawing and instead inked it and colored it for the sake of Inktober!!! Hurrah! ... Now I wonder if it would have been better if it just stayed in pencil.

I like your choice of colours, imho better option than going with monochrome for this pic. Reminds me of I don't know what exactly... possibly some old game.

So I did a bunch of stuff lately... Just need to upload it.
Tried working with ink and that was just crap (not to mention the only type of ink I have is for my fountain pens)
So I worked with my markers and pencils instead.

I'll try to upload it tomorrow.

Tert's one is... defos better as colour. I think as bw we'd lose the girl to the gun which would be a lot darker.
Totally forgiven for only posting one.
Had always thought Inktober was more for smaller sketches.

Mine is on about 90% of an A4 marker pad page. And I use Letraset Pro Markers.

Damn man! I really love how you rendered the girl's face. I've never really been good at realism, so I'm always impressed with stuff like this.

 

Out of curiosity, how big are both your pieces tert, raven? (Day 26)
And what markers do you use?

First marker piece (Day 25) is about 10 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. Second (Day 26) was about 7 1/2 by 4 1/2. Don't ask me why, haha. I just randomly chose rectangles I thought'd suit the composition.

 

  Markers are a mix of Copic Ciao and Copic Sketch.

  More family fluff so I can practice drawing children... and boy, can I say I don't like how this turned out. The boy's anatomy in general looks like a bit of a mess. The slight birds eye view turned out pretty good on the dad, tho.

Not sure if you're interested or have time for reading it, but your art slightly reminds me of Juathuur webcomic. Your style is way more exotic, but I think it'd fit the world the comic takes place in o: Just my random opinion, possibly only I see it like that (I'm prone to making weird connections between things).

Ah, there's also this, because lots of mystical tattoos and similarly unusual style :​o

Well was able to make another one. Not happy with this one though because I found no joy in making this. Gave "pin up" a shot on the behest of a friend and now I really know its simply not my thing. But here, for Inktober.
