I can't get over the fact that Boro and team are older than Yuri D: and probably even Lero ro.

Damn, they're old.

 

They should've just continued climbing, become Rankers, and then come back to deal with Hoaqin.

If you don't make it on the Hell Train on time, you miss it, just as Baam missed it the last time. Now the conductor drags people in. That is the point I was getting at. I know it's not much use to question such a thing b/c it's most likely just another trivial SIU thing. Oh well.

When it took 5 chapters for Yura to climb the stairs the conductor did nothing, but when Baam faces Hoaqin (incomplete) he interfered right away. Perhaps he doesn't want Baam to die nor Hoa

He was probably trying to rip his own skin from his own face.

Ah, that beautiful moment when you quote someone before the change they whole set up of their post. My best guess is that the reason the Conductor is acting like this now has something to do with the fact that Hoaqin isn't supposed to leave the train. Whatever contract that is in place to keep Hoaqin in the train probably affects the whole train in some way as well. Either that, or what someone else said early, Koon's earlier attack on the train has woken him up and made him become more active.

And not to mention that Boro was stuck on that floor all those years and yet rode the train twice or thrice IIRC, like why was he on that floor if he wasn't riding the train?

 

It would have been really cool if one of them had moved on with his life and returns to them as a ranker, and then they would have realized what they missed..

A ranker's life can go either way though. Sort of like what some regulars are already doing. (nothing at all or working)

^This, and its a similar situation to what happened with Dan. After a certain point being a Ranker isn't the only option a Regular has, and if they're tired of or ruined by the Regular lifestyle they choose those other options instead of continuing.
