I just noticed that all of my uploads can't be found on the Comics search. Is that normal?

You can't find comics/uploads you just added via the search? I had that issue with one comic I added but I think I solved it with clearing my browsers cache though it might have been something else.

Edit: Moved to Batoto Support in case others run into similar issues.

I for one, have had that problem, I had to trawl through history to find the comics I'd uploaded... taking a stab at a guess *stabs viciously at some guesses* I would say a comic shows up in search either after chapters are uploaded, or a certain time limit?

One of the comics I've had the trouble with: Karin by Kagesaki Yuna (http://vatoto.com/comic/_/comics/karin-r2006) I haven't uploaded any chapters on that yet, but it started to show up in search now, it didn't before. Maybe it's a time-or-waiting-till-google-bot-finds-it-based issue? I mean, isn't that how google bots/google search works?

Thought it was a problem with my browser or cache or something like that...guess not. Hurray!

I only became aware of that issue recently. (I think it's since the genre search has been implemented.) I used to be able to find comics I added right away.

I made that ugly link a bit more readable Shadowed Fate, I hope you don't mind. (BBCode is disabled here to prevent abuse, since guests can post here as well.)

Google search is just fine but comic search and the comic list as well doesn't show any of my uploads (some of them were weeks ago)

Google search requires google bot to index all the new pages before it starts working.

Our search options (either from comic page or IPB search) should show almost immediately. However, lot of things work in cache system so, it may not show exactly immediately.

If the comic you're trying to find that was added a week ago isn't showing, it's possible that we deleted it because of a duplicate under a similar or alternate title. Which exact title are we talking about? Which also means google search will, sometimes, given you a broken link.

I tried Antique Romance, Blue Sky Playground, S.L.H., Otona Pink.... basically all of them. They're still here since I can find them through Google search function here but the comic search and list doesn't show them up

I'll look into it later when I have a bit more time. But it does seem to be broken from the new comic search. You can still use the IPB search to get the result though...
