the one for all still has a lot to be explained
its unlikely that All Might went through what Midoriya is suffering, or else he would've already said or tipped him about how to control the power, knowing how it is like as a former beginner.
and the transformation he goes when he activates his power does not happen with Deku too. I bet that if the untransformed self of All Might used the quirk he would break his own bones as well.
the true nature of One for All remains to be seen, together with Midoriya's future identity (and medical history)

All Might's hero form is what he used to look like naturally before all went to the crapper and he had to go through all those surgeries. He's just "flexing" as he puts it. I mean, the power is just... a bunch of people's strengths put together. Tho I can't deny possibility of some transformation abilities being there. There really are still mysteries.
However, the hero name and such had me wondering too. We don't know what his predecessors were called either. But since All Might wants Deku to earn a name for himself, I'd say he's just gonna be whoever he ends up being if he decides on a different name later. Otherwise there'd be legends about All Might being old/immortal or something. It's the "symbol of peace" title that's actually what needs to be transferred, not "All Might".

I'm not sure why you seem to think Midoriya is supposed to carry on the All Might name. He inherited the One for All quirk, not the All Might persona. He's still gotta make a name for himself and become his own man.
All Might chose him as successor to the quirk, and hopefully to his spot as Number 1 Hero once he's become a pro. Nothing more.

The Legacy of a name has a lot more power than you might think.
While being "merely" a second All Might might not sound like much, being a second All Might would show the timelessness of heroism and the responsibility of the previous generation to the next one to pass on its virtues in spite of all its flaws. All Might's name in BnHA is almost synonym to peace and hope and All Might's successor carrying his name would be him carrying those same values in an increasingly cynical world.
A stable name would signify both the weight of the responsibility Midoriya has inherited from All Might, as well as the hopes and dreams he is carrying on his back by preserving the peace his predecessor created.
It is the name all will remember him by and shout when in their most dire moments.
It might as well be the name of the Symbol of Peace.

No I understand the legacy of a name. I read western superhero comics.
But it hasn't been hinted anywhere that Deku is supposed to literally replace All Might in the role. OP seems to be running off an assumption that as Deku masters One For All he'll gain an alternate form and literally become All Might, but I'm not sure that's actually part of the quirk. I was under the impression that was just Toshinori's original body, and that his weakened form now is just what he looks like after his injuries and all the surgeries that saved him, and that to make himself look muscular again is essentially just him puffing out his chest but with his entire body.
But even if Deku does decide to take up All Might's mantle, it was explicitly stated that the students' hero names right now are able to be changed later if they so choose. Iida has already decided that once he feels he's up to the task, and can consider himself a true hero worthy of it, he's going to take on his brother's hero name.

Oh, that's what he meant.
No, Deku will become All Might in name and meaning only, not in form.
Although he might one day gain a body similar to that of All Might's, it'll most likely be due to him training constantly rather than him becoming All Might himself.
