I've been reading Eyeshield 21 (chapter 180 at this point) and sometimes the text is too small to read easily (or at all) so I have two questions.
1) Would it be acceptable for me to redo the text to make it more legiable? I'd ask the individual groups but they are no longer active.
2) If it is acceptable what is the best way to get copies of these scanlations?

If the groups are no longer active try to see if there are still websites or similar available. If they aren't active anymore and there isn't anything about them not wanting others to use their stuff I'm sure nobody will object to you using it.
