[Will of NGE]

I've got a bunch of these animes waiting to be watched on MyAnimeList but I just can't start any of them. It's like hitting a wall, I can't pick any.

So I'll ask you my dear batotians and potatoes to help me out and vote for stuff. I didn't post two animes from the waiting list because they're still airing.

I have allowed for multiple choices so pick as many as you like. I'm looking for as many votes as possible.

i think better start off with bitter sweet or romcom genre first.. since it can be consider as "light"..

My first anime was Neon Genesis Evangelion. Then Code Geass. Then Darker than Black.

"dark" is my home and my origin Wolf's Rain, Ergo Proxy... I love these kinds of things. After Darker than Black I watched Toradora and it was like seeing light at the end of the tunnel xD So much fun and joy xD But darkness is my home.

You do realise where my avatar, sig and name come from, right? NGE was my first anime and anime that shaped my interests in dark, weird, tragic stories.

I've read the manga while it was being released and I watched the anime as well.

I didn't bother looking any further after I saw Samurai Champloo.  At or near the top of a very short list of my favorites in anime.

I do not really know myself xD the only ones I know they exist as an anime are Panty & Stocking, and Samurai Champloo!

Cute first half that gets quite dark in the latter, though still pretty light-hearted.

Panty and stocking is nice, but I wouldn't really recommend watching the whole thing from start to finish in one go. It's something I'd watch a bit at a time in between series.

My vote goes to Texhnolyze.

Panty and Stocking are angels who take off the respective piece of clothing which then transforms into a weapon.
Its art was directly inspired by western cartoons like Powerpuff Girls. Here, watch an AVM for it.
