The thugs could not properly gun down the knives flying through the air towards them, so they ducked and hoped one would not hit. Unfortunately, one man holding a rifle was stabbed in the tricep, as the blade had gone through the bars of the staircases's railing. As for the others, they shuffled upwards to get a better angle at the blood wall, hoping to force the woman out by firing closer to her position behind the wall from their vantage point. A single man remained at the foot of the steps, yet he ran over to a small brick fence that blocked off the main path from the dirt, low trees, and bushy vegetation located to the side of the resort. From his position, he took aim but withheld his bullets.
Inside of the dining hall, the police began to radio in for reinforcements. They also started to progress towards the doorway, risking their lives as they took fire from the mafia thugs. The fire superiority was on the criminal side, yet the police packed more bullets and more precise aim. This opportunity also provided Vivi a chance to change cover. As for the Man In The White Suit, his bright orange eyes began to glow so brightly that they started to expunge gusts of air, which resulted in his forwards locks of hair to start whipping up past his forehead. The ball of unstable reality in his hands was around the same size it had been previously, but was still dangerous. It had enough capacity to implode an entire SUV. Still not enough to clear a room, but still lethal enough to severely cripple the police.
Carson waited for the thugs to inch closer to the bar. There were a total of five sweeping towards the Resort's main building. This bungalow-bar and relaxation area near the circular swimming pool was void of innocents, so the arena was primed for whatever mayhem might arise.
"Two of you should move up to the door. We'll lock this area down, the police can spot us from that balconies over there and you never know when those fuckers from the Capurza family will run in here. Ey yo Dony, get me a drink from the bar will you?"
At the festival just outside of The Rego, a small boy noticed the dirt beneath him rumbling and quaking. He was currently on the grass campus that served as a conduit between two major thoroughfares for foot-traffic to arrive at the grand steps leading to The Rego. There were multiple vendor stalls or game stalls, festival decorations, gargantuan event tents and inflatables, as well as plenty of lights in this wide region. The concrete plaza located within the of which The Rego was situated in was quite bare, it was more or less of a grand space used for people to enter or exit the main entrance doorways to the The Rego. As for the boy, when he realized that the soil and grass around his feet was beginning to expand into small hills and break apart, he started to worry. Everyone could feel the shaking now, some people thought an earthquake was currently rocking the area. In reality, it was something much smaller but just as dangerous.
"I am Spriggan, and you defile this land! The Rego shall be claimed by Nature once more!"
What appeared to a gargantuan woman rose out from the earth, her skin was pigmented a pale green, touched with a hue of gold. Her giant, shappely legs were clasped together, and entwined onto them were thick roots that grew out from the ground and ran up along her bare skin. There were flowers and dense patches of leaves covering her calves, knees, and pelvis. As for her bare upper body, it was armored by asymmetrical pieces of thick, black bark that possessed wavy lines of glowing green color pulsing through them. She was a giant, who was stuck up to her calves in a nest of gnarled, lengthy roots. She had spiraled out of the ground with her head covered over by a crown of tendrils and branches that fused with her scalp and snow-white, long hair in a fancy but fierce display. Her slender arms and mid-riff were also covered over by flowers and vines. On her bosom and throat were thorns that dug into her skin, dripping semi-transparent sap that drizzled out of her wet wounds with every eat of her enormous heart. The woman herself was good-looking, although she had been malformed by the hybridization of her natural physical features becoming fused with the strength of super-enhanced overgrowth. Her pupil-less eyes were drenched a beady black color, and she glared down to the horrified human beings below her, sneering with her filled out, dark-green lips.
Her fingers pointed out to the festival tents and stalls, and thick branches suddenly speared through from the earth into them, forcing those who were not killed or injured by the mass of tendril-like roots. This giant was hellbent of destroying everything around her.
"Let Nature heal the chaos I sow today, as it always has!"
