The new list of recently added comics, well... isn't. It's all out of order, there's stuff from a few days ago listed as newer than new stuff, and there's a ton that's missing. It's basically now useless for checking what new series have actually been added.

2015/4/13

- Highest Rated Series algorithm has been changed (previously was IPB supplied, now custom). The absolute highest points (total points / number of points) is the order, but must have received at least 50 votes to qualify. It must also have at least one chapter. Refreshes every hour.

- Recently Added Comics has been changed in similar manner. It must have at least one chapter. Refreshes every 10 minutes.

Many people were complaining about series showing up around the site (in searches, Recently Added Comics, etc) not having any chapters, thus being useless to them (as this is a reading site). I guess enough people complained that Grumpy decided to do something. He had already added the new tag [no-chapters], this is just a step further.

 

It's still a list of the newest titles added to Batoto, it just filters out the ones without at least 1 chapter. It's not like it's changed to "newest series to gain a first chapter".

If you want to see what was really added with or without chapter, just look at the numbers.

 

This is the latest title as of now:

It's comic #15124. It will go up by one every time something is added. So, the 2nd latest is 15123, third is 15122, etc.

Keeping tracks of the numbers is a little harder especially if you don't keep track all the time. The old method of newest manga added, even if without a chapter, helps me as a scanlator, especially if it's a title that im working on being added, to gives me some sort of alert as to someone's intention to do the same thing as me and I can react to it.

 

I'll just bookmark the full list and sort it through dated added from now on and check it there I guess.

You are right, here is the list for sp. I don't know if there is a way to see both list together.
