Name: Kagura Kirigakure.
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Height/Weight: 6'1/ 160 Ibs
Personality: If there was a word to perfectly describe her personality, it would no doubt be 'Dangerous' or 'Troublesome'. Though, she'd prefer 'Mysterious' or 'Unpredictable but it's all the same to some people. It's not that she in herself is dangerous, well she is, but it's the way she thinks that rubs people the wrong way. It goes without saying that there's marines corrupt beyond repair, those that aren't exactly all for justice (or at least they don't go about it in acceptable/clean methods) and of course the types that all are so into the justice for all crap that's just outright sickening. Well, there's various other types but lets not mind that. If Kagura was to be put into a category, it'll probably be a little bit of both. She's not corrupt but she heavily favors unfavorable methods. Whether it's brutal, crazy or just outright unthinkable, if she believes it'll get her target, she's all the more willing to do it, whatever means necessary.
It's apart of what makes her dangerous, along with the things she doesn't do. She's hot-blooded, aggressive and her brutal honesty knows no bounds. It doesn't matter who they are or what rank they hold, she'll say what's on her mind whether they like it or not. Suffice to say, she easily makes enemies and along with her coarse language, it really doesn't help her chances for a promotion, despite her potential. Prefers wearing an altered Samurai Gi/Kimono, with the outfits emblem on the back, instead of the typical uniform.
History: She was born in a village in the South Blue to a clan of bandits, The Kirigakure Clan. When she was only 6 years old, her family and the rest of the village was massacred and burned to the ground. Kagura was essentially left to die until amongst the chaos, a samurai found her and, taking pity or for whatever reason, decided to raise her as his own. Considering her age and the situation, there really was no choice, so while scared, the young kagura decided to go with him. They eventually ended up settling in a village in the East Blue, Shimotsuki Village. Growing up, she heard countless stories not only the stories from the other villagers regarding Roronoa Zoro, who trained at a dojo in the village, and the Straw hat pirates, a legendary swordsman who was apart of one the greatest pirate crews to sail the seas but also stories about her 'fathers', The Samurai, Amon, who rescued her, homeland, Wano Country and various stories concerning the 'new world', the land beyond the grand line. Though, the stories she found the most interesting were those concerning the heroes of Wano Country, the legendary swordsmen Ryuuma and Kin'emon, the founder of the sword art, the kitsunebi-ryu (Fox-Fire Style), whom Amon had once trained under Kin'emon's son, Momonosuke.
Filled in wonders about the adventures of the straw hat pirates and the various tales of the many famed samurai warriors from Wano Country. By the time she hit 10, she already decided that she was going to be a Samurai Pirate when she got older, and to that, Amon only laughed, gently scolding her that she can only be one or the other, there's no having both, to her dismay. Though, he did remind her that Swordsman were quite a common sight among pirate crews, like Zoro. While it appeared that she had a bright future ahead of her in that regard, however, as she got older, that soon began to change. The day it all changed was not long after her 14th birthday when her and a group of friends, who like numerous other children who played at being 'pirates', gathered together when they heard a pirate crew coming to shore in a nearby town. Excited at the chance for a potential adventure, her and her friends stuck on-board the pirates ship. As they were wondering around the ship, they heard footsteps coming from around the corner. Alarmed, they hit behind a bunch of crates and a tarp and that's where they'd come to see something they wish they hadn't. It was one of the Ships Pirates man-handling someone who looked like a Merchant. Not able to comprehend what the pirate was saying to the man, the Pirate got angry, took out a blade and ran it through the Merchant. Kagura and the others went white from fear.
Struggling to keep silent, they waited until the Pirate made to leave before trying to get out of there, However, one of her friends tripped and fell, alerting the pirate of their presence. Not able to get away in time, Kagura, armed with a simple battered short sword, stayed behind to allow the others to get away. While managing to catch him by surprise with a light slash to the chest, it wasn't deep enough to bring him down nor do much damage, just enough to draw blood and howl in pain. He managed to slash away her blade, charge in and deliver a punishing with the butt of his blade into her gut, knocking her out. As with her, the rest of her friends were quickly captured, after reaching a dead end with the ship already out to sea. Over a period of hours her friends were toyed with and killed for simple amusement with only Kagura and her friend Noah, a boy one year younger than her, left alive. With the pirate she struck being one of the leaders, she wasn't going to get off easily. Thinking it'll quite amusing, after noticing the boys obvious concern/feelings toward Kagura, they decided to slash away her clothes with a dagger and started lightly cutting up and down Kagura's back while holding her down as they started laughing when she tried to resist, even managing to spit in ones face and headbutting one before a crushing back hand smack to the head sent her back to the floor.
Unknown to the pirates, a few Black Flag ships were nearing their location. As the night progressed and the Pirates started getting drunker and more arrogant (and dropping their guard), Kagura, essentially being forced to crawl due to the torture session, managed to pocket a piece of glass from a broken mug, she managed sit up and stab one of her drunk torturers, who was in a sitting position, stabbing him in the next over and over and tried to crawl over and free her friend. But one of the others near them manage to catch her and just when he was about to kill her, the marines finally came in and saved the two of them, as the Captain of that ship managed to get there in time and cut down the pirate. The pirates were defeated and she was returned home.
After the whole ordeal, she grew an intense hatred for pirates and began taking her swordsmanship training more seriously than ever before. However, after learning the basics of the Kitsunebi-ryu, in which she finally was able to produce the flames, upon hitting the age of 18, her adoptive father, Amon, suddenly vanished. Initially distraught over the incident, she resolved to find him, deciding to leave Shimotsuki Village. From the time following her leaving the village, Kagara took to bounty hunting, or more accurately, Pirate hunting as she sought to eliminate as many dangerous pirates as she could, inspired by the marine that saved her. Little did she know that as the years past, her hatred of pirates started fading while her goal of eliminating all pirates went away and replaced by taking out the ones who put others in danger....the more vile ones. Eventually she came across a Pirate she couldn't defeat and, coincidence or not, was saved yet again by the same Black Flag Officer. Though, this time they ended up fighting, which ended in her loss. After a lengthy cut scene, she eventually was convinced to join the organization.
