Hi there ^^ Thats a shot write that I made for a forum and a frien traslate to english to see whta happens ^^ I hope you all enjoy
Spoiler
There was nothing, no more than a huge void surrounding that place, no black, no white, of no color. It was simply an emptiness showing itself through infinity. A world of no good, of no evil, with no just or unjust. With no cause and effect, a place without ruler. Why did it happen? Was there something before such a hole in the unending reality? Of course there was, there were three witnesses of it, in that same void. In the only place where something was.
A spot of blood, one behind the other, floating in the infinite causality, as if their forms had been captured on a glass floating through the air, moving on a huge path of several miles. It wasn't hard to navigate, after all there was only a place where it could go. From the distance it looked like a red spot only, floating in the same way as many others more. But, as it got closer, someone would notice the spot taking the shape of a scarlet arch, filled with even more scarlet.
As the distance got shorter, it was possible to see golden stones, on the edges, decorating that huge arch until, at last, it was possible to identify what actually was a door, of a scarlet color. With golden ornaments embedded on that double door, it looked as if it were new, as if it had never been opened before.
A few seconds after that sight a scream became present in that place. It was followed by a crying, from the same female, deep voice heard before. The source of that voice could be found by walking around the door. There were three girls, no more and no less of them. They were of 17 to 22 years, from the youngest to the oldest. They were nothing but the three witnesses who had experienced in their own flesh the existence of a world before that limbo were they were wandering, standing in a floor that seemed to float, spinning without them noticing, for moments getting away from that door, but sooner than later they ended up back in the same position, as if the door was orbiting the three presences. Like a holy trinity, that looked at each other with different gazes.
The one who stood out the most was a blonde girl of apparently 22 or 23 years old, on her knees, sobbing, with her white dress stained with blood, partially burned, with another burn noticeable at the level of her belly, her right breast and shoulder. Her tears dropped from her cheeks, to later float away towards an infinity to never come back. The reason of her crying and sobs was evident through her right leg, since something that couldn't be better described as "a scythe of blood" was piercing her calf, with the blade going through her leg. The scythe looked like a living being on its own, because you could watch the movement of the blood on the edge, as if it were some kind of vein or artery invisible, going through the wound on the calf, and finally reaching the point of the edge so it could give a whole turn to go back to the handle of the scythe, reaching a delicate hand, dressed with a fine black leather.
That hand belonged to a second girl, standing behind the first one, showing a sadistic smirk, keeping the scythe on the wound of the oldest, sometimes even moving it for the sake of cruelty towards her. Her appearance was that of a young girl, no older than 19. She wore a white shirt and a black vest. She also had black shorts and completely-ripped black tights. Her hairs were of a pink color, reaching her neck. Here pale face made noticeable her indigo eyes. They rose from the oldest towards the third member of the trio without losing her smirk, as if she were watching her suffering as well.
The third one, seemingly of 17, looked at the blonde with no expression, dressed in a black coat and a white blouse with laces of roses on the chest, and a black mini skirt. She sighed and crouched, only a few inches away from the blonde, removing from her a white, fluffy hat. She took her chin, forcing the blonde to look into her eyes. The indigo eyes from the blonde could only express helplessness, pain, envy, and... love? Yes, a warm feeling was in those tears, she even tried to give a hint of a smile when she looked the black haired woman, whose hair fell on her lower back. Her bangs threatened to cover her eyes, just as the tears covered the eyes of the crying woman.
"Li... Lilly... Please, forgive me... In the end, I couldn't do anything" she said crying, but smiling at the same time. She had given herself up to defeat.
"You wanted me to live in that lie of yours forever, didn't you?" she answered, cutting the eye contact between them, looking at the floor, wretched.
The blonde reached with one of her hands the cheek of the black haired girl. She caressed her lovingly, gently "I... I didn't want to see you unhappy" she paused, with a small cry caused by the movement of the scythe in her leg, causing the black haired one to reprimand the pink haired with only a look. "Liesse... No, just no" scolded Lilly. Liesse looked away from the couple and, in a single move, she took the scythe away, letting it rest on her shoulder. She turned herself to look at the door, every three seconds that the orbit put her in that position. Then, the crimson scythe was put on the floor, keeping the door in the same position.
"Lilly" the blonde keep talking, trying to stand up, unsuccessfully. "Are you sure you want to go back? We can start over... Just the two of us, and no one else..." her hand, stroking her cheek rose towards Lilly's forehead, revealing her missing left eye, no more than an empty eye socket, with an unending darkness.
"Anne... you know that's not going to happen" Lilly interrupted with a broken voice, she really didn't want to do it "I know I'm going to suffer, I know I will cry. But these things need to happen. I won't be able to know happiness if I don't suffer in the meanwhile"
"All this time... I was happy with you" Annabelle confessed to her, crying again, this time not for the pain in her body, but because of her heart who was trying to giver hope, that everything would turn out okay. That she'd go back with Lilly, feeling another warm kiss of good night and other of good morning. "I... I really love you" she cried again. "That wasn't a lie, I swear.... I did all of this so you wouldn't suffer, because I love you. Every of my heartbeats is because of you."
Annabelle's confession was stopped by a kiss given by Lilly. With the eyes closed, the ancient goddess kissed her back, she was happy again during that fleeting moment. That bothered Liesse, who kept the two islands together, but her scowl disappeared in a laugh when tears started to flow from Annabelle's eyes once more, and the blood stained Lilly's legs.
Annabelle did nothing but hug strongly to Lilly, who cried in silence, feeling how that arm lost strength slowly, until Annabelle's body fell to the side of Lilly, with a knife piercing her chest, the same knife that she had been delivered to who was now her killer.
Liesse laughed loudly, because of the irony. She held her belly with her left hand, and she even had to struggle to not let go the scythe, and with it, the island.
Lilly could only clean her own tears with her right hand, and straighten her spine, walking to until she was close to Liesse, laughing to tears. She silenced her up "Shut up", and with that she slowly calmed down. Then, both of them, at the same time, walked towards the island where the door resided.
Each one walked towards it, and each one took one of the handles of that double door, Lilly to the right and Liesse had to take the left. Liesse, still smiling, made disappear the scythe by biting it. It went inside her in less than a second, leaving not even a spot on her lips.
"You're crueler than you look" she said to Lilly.
"There wasn't anything else to do... We couldn't go out the three of us at the same time" she sighed. "We were going to die anyway, once we went out", she said, looking down.
"I don't criticise your decision, after all, it's not convenient for me to have that whore girlfriend of yours near me", then she laughed again. "The further she is from me, the better"
"I don't want to see you again", the black haired said, as an order.
"Well, bad news for you... he, he, he. I am you in the first place" she reminded her, before smirking again, watching the corpse disappearing to the distance.
After that, there was a moment of silence. Both of them turned to see the door. With perfect sync, they spun the handles, opening the door at the same time. A white light emerged from it, and both women, as well as the door, disappeared from that void, which was slowly deleted, until there was no more of it.
In a house, in a city, in a country. There was a house which had turned into ashes because of a huge fire. All the objects were either melted or burned. In the center of the house, covered with a thick layer of soot, a humanoid figure was perceptible. Because of the heat, the figure's eyeball had exploded, leaving a big burn with a shape like that of a tree, with the highest branch reaching the corner, as a tear from the left eye, while the other branches, in the cheek and chin of the girl joined in a trunk in the neck, getting out of sight in the burned blouse of her.
The woman was motionless, presumably dead since many hours ago, with both eyes closed, lying down on a side, on the burned floor, with rubble and ashes as blankets. Her eyes opened suddenly, getting up all at once, making the rubble fly away from her.
A shining object called her attention: a silver goblet, beautifully decorated, with letters of a language she didn't understand, with ornaments of golden pieces and diamonds covering it. On it, you could see something that could only be described as a frog, of crimson and black embellishing it's horrible body, with no visible wart. It started to laugh proudly: "Ho, ho, ho, ho!" This laugh made the puzzled girl, with very few strength left, to limp towards the table, looking the frog's back. There were two crosses which, in the middle of their lines had a sapphire on one and a ruby on the other. Then, she watched the eyes of the creature. There were, again, two crosses, but this time they were horizontally and vertically positioned, as if mixing the eyes of a predator with that of a prey. This unknown being just greeted her with one phrase:
"Welcome back, my child."
