Well let me start by saying:

NOT even Inari likes Inari:

Her jealous attitude:

Her problems started because of her DESIRE for that guy going so far as to wish of being the girl that Tanbabashi likes (or she thinks he likes) out of jealousy... now not only that but her selfishness even cause Uka to...

All of the problems are cause by her... Inari. But not only that after receiving godly power all she did was use it to find more things about her crush.. just pure selfishness. Now I don't want to spoil some of the story but there are a lot of times when Inari's nasty Me Me ME MEEEEEE attitude shows. It's like she wants to be LOVE by everyone at ANY cost. I just cant find any good points about her all I see is a spoil brat that get's whatever she wants or else the waterworks start to rain on all the supporting characters.

Mmh, I must say I disagree with you here...

Inari is a teenager, not an adult, and it's logic she would make a lot of bad decisions... like desiring to be Sumizome. But I don't blame her for this, she was upset because she thought her crush was interested in that pretty girl. Let's be honest, who hasn't EVER wished to be someone else? Someone beautiful or successful? To Inari, Sumizome was both things. She was popular because of her beauty and good manners, she was smart, AND she was the love interest of Tanbabashi (of course she was wrong there, but she couldn't have known that. To Inari, Sumizome had succeeded where she didn't).

But she realized that she did no good by desiring that and regretted it. So, she did what any person would have done: searching for a way out, and what better option that talking with the deity who gave her the power in the first place? I would have done that too (I mean, c'mon, Uka's a goddess, that means she has powers). Aaaand Uka NEVER warned her about the consequences that her acts could bring, so that's her fault, not Inari's. Uka took every burden in her back, without telling anything neither Inari, nor Touka, nor her own foxes, who were dead worried about her condition... (I love Uka, by the way, I'm just saying what I think).

[Spoiler Alert]
It's not like I'm just defending Inari, no. I actually DO think she is a little selfish, but that's because she means well. I've never seen her wanting to get all the attention (other than her crush's, but it's absolutely normal for everybody, even for her, wanting to be someone for your love interest). In fact, Inari has defended Uka a lot of times, the same with her friends, AND with that girl who wanted to confess her love to Tanbabashi. Remember the letter that flew away? Inari felt terrible after that and wanted to compensate it... in a bad way, but it was the only one at the reach of her hand. The same happened when she gave up on her role in the play. Kon told her she had unconsciously used Uka's power to win, and she felt like she had cheated and left because she thought it was the best thing to do, without even doubting but with all sorrow in her heart. Like I said, she means well.

(I'm not going to comment about the 'pure selfishness' in her or the fact that she 'wants to be loved by everyone at any cost' because I disagree as well and I don't know how to express myself).

The only 'Me Me ME MEEEEEE' attitude I see is whenever she transforms into somebody else. I just HATE her when she does that. Since chapter 14/15 (I can't remember) she already knew nothing good could come out of it, yet SHE STILL DID IT. I was like: 'Hey, Inari, it was fun while it lasted, now get over it and STOP using that damn power'... Aaaand I felt absolutely annoyed when Inari was watching all her classmates/students of the school so she could know every damn face and transform into it anytime. What the hell, girl?!

I must say I haven't finished the manga (I'm in chapter 29, so I might be missing something *if that's so, sorry*) and I don't like Inari either, but I don't think I share your point of view...
