i know this can be cliche bestfriend turn so bad then friend helps him go back to be good again??

 

i think it was the detective since who else knows the condition of all might?? i know some high class heroes knows but they are heroes not detectives so yeah i might be overthinking things but it turns out to be correct that would be sooo sad hahaha

I think it's his face that made my alarm bells ring. He looks too plain. Think Aizen in Bleach.

Just the perfectly innocent face to suddenly transform with a villain reveal. So I think you're on to something. A plain-faced character being part of an "inner circle" of otherwise flashy people? Red flag.

He will start removing people's glasses and start breaking them to show off or something...

But other than that, I think that he is envious of the current holder of All-Might's power, One for All. As you said, he is very plain looking, meaning that he too is just one of the Quirkless people in the world, making One for All his only chance to not only be one of the cool kids, but be the cool kid.

Or so I think, at the very least.

yea there are many reasons that he might turn bad, like he got jealous to his best friend all might because he is the symbol of peace and ironically he is a detective that also promotes peace, so thats that or how society thinks high of heroes and not relying to the police that much

I kind of hope that it if the Detective really does turn out to be a villain, it is a Lelouch sort of plot, were he is doing it to try and make the world a better place via a focusing of the hatred into a symbol and then having the symbol be destroyed by the symbol of Good.

And what better way to accomplish just that by having All Might's power, serving as an irony for the world to be victim of.

But I doubt that this series will have such a complicated plot, so I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you.
