In her defense, Chihiro fell in love with Keima genuinely. Don't get me wrong, I totally rooted for Tenri too.
I think the author is trying to troll us... and he did for the half of us who wasn't rooting for Chihiro (surprisingly she has many supporters)
Tenri's love for Keima is more like admiration or respect, for his courage and stuff.
But who am I kidding, damn them Japanese people screwing over people's childhood friends.

chihiro falls in love with anyone so is that really special?? I mean keima is good looking after all, tenri also accepted keima who loves video games I think chihiro will still look down on him despite it all.
