I just started reading Sidonia no Kishi. I have watched the anime before and I'm a bit confused after reading from the beginning:

 

Chapter 0, page 3: Ochiai a member of the immortal crew

 

Chapter 1, page 27: There is a man introducing himself as Ochiai

 

 

 

Is there any relation between the two of them?
