Who said anything about ignoring it? I was simply suggesting that there might be a chance said limit will be adjusted in light of the responses to the preference question. I did use sarcasm, so it could very well have gone over people's heads though. My bad.

It's an older lycan belief. Survival is strength is a common idea among the lycans, so this is a natural extension of that. Children who live through extreme circumstances are believed to be incredibly strong.

Fletcher is an example of that. As a young child (about 6) he was lost when his parents were hunted by vampires. He survived alone in the woods for months. As you can see, he is indeed quite strong.

Not all lycans believe it, but there is no reason for Grey not to be cautious.

I chuckled at the Huxley-Bramhill Brewing Co. bit. But it does make sense that each of us holds a job outside our studies. Funding doesn't poof in from nowhere after all.

 

That said, I do hope someone visits the Wrenhaven Clinic. All are welcome.

If you're guy runs a clinic in the human sector of Memorium my character would have come to him frequently seeking treatment for the children, and sometimes himself, from a non-judgemental party.

Sounds about right. His advanced healing abilities associated with Lifeblood don't work on non-humans yet, but he's still a capable doctor in his own right.

Yes. Blood donation is actually an alternate payment option for humans.
