To avoid long talk about this in the Discussion Raws topic... Or maybe just to have fun,
everybody can just mention which symbolic number he has found here... (in which page and chapter, or any other reference)
Numbers that may refer to the Tarot cards or something else.

* Remember that mistakes can occur here

Meanwhile, I or maybe some kind mod make the list below this very sentence:
- Zero from "Rei" [Suzuya's one first name]
- Thirteen from "Juuzou" [Suzuya's other first name]
- "XIII" [Suzuya's hair pins]
- "12" [Kaneki, chapter 63, page 18]
- "15" [Takizawa Seidou, chapter 123, page 17]

- "12" [Kaneki, chapter 126, page 16]
- "714" [V14, chapter 140, page 1]: Used also in the countdown towards "14" and after, as subtracting by 7
- "9" and "14" [Kaneki, chapter 140, page 18]
- "6" [Ito, chapter 143, page 17]
- "19" [Touka, chapter 143, page 21]

I Wonder if there was number in the first arcs (and by taht I mean until Aogiri)

Here are some but 3 are symbols instead of numbers. Don't worry; I double checked the symbols, and their meanings match the context.

Well most of these are from others but here goes...

Arima

- 11 (He was called the Jack of spades from Tokyo Ghoul:Jack I think. Correct me if I'm wrong cause it's been awhile)

- 13 (ch 137 pg 16)

Juuzo

- 12 (ch 134 pg 10 when his hair clip comes off.

Kaneki

- 7 (ch 137 pg 16 bottom left corner)

Hide

- 1 (ch 83 Hide's cap)

Touka (kind of unsure about this one but it does fit)

- 2 (ch 140 pg 6)

How would we be able to interpret Seido's number. Is it foreshadowing that he'll become an antagonist in the future? Based on his personality, he seems like he could be turned into a major antagonist (perhaps the new Kaneki that Eto is looking for).

On page 1 of chapter 143, I believe there is a 4 on Tsukiyama's face. It looks obscure so not sure if its intended.

Also Juuzou has a 20 in the form of XX under his lip on page 6 of chapter 143.

The Devil [15] on Rize's chest Ch.90

Spoiler

How would we be able to interpret Seido's number. Is it foreshadowing that he'll become an antagonist in the future? Based on his personality, he seems like he could be turned into a major antagonist (perhaps the new Kaneki that Eto is looking for).

The Devil represents

Upright: Bondage, addiction, sexuality, materialism. (X)

Bondage meaning feeling trapped/unable to move forward like whenever Hamlet thought too much about killing his uncle, thus he hesitated.

Seidou didn't want to risk dying by participating in battle against Owl, but he had no choice because it was his job; he was trapped, while Rize fits the criteria for 15 perfectly. She uses/flaunts her sexuality to her advantage, and to her eating is pleasure. In the picture, she is literally trapped under those steel beams.

*Edit*
Seidou was also obsessed with receiving a promotion (materialism).

The Emperor [4] on Kurona's cheek. Ch.105/Pg.14

Spoiler

Emperor means authority, confidence or assertiveness. Basically, someone who is in control.

Kurona and Nashiro both saw each other as equal, but after their encounter with Juuzou, Nashiro was close to dying, and at that point, Kurona took charge and became the decision-maker.

Now that Kurona is the Emperor, I think that she disobeyed Kanou when he told her to abandon her dying twin sister and follow him to join Aogiri Tree. She is in control now. She probably fed herself to her sister to save her life - is there a word for cannibilizing your twin?

- "9" and "14" [Kaneki, chapter 140, page 18]

There is no 9 there. Yes, "IX" is written there, but I'm quite certain it's meant to be a "IXA", I'm just not really certain what is meant to be the "A" (but I've highlighted my best guess in the pic below in blue). That's because Ishida wrote "IXA" in Japanese right next to it (highlighted in red).
There might be a "13" hidden in this panel (highlighted in green), but I'm unsure if this was intentional. However, if Ishida placed the "13" there deliberately, I'd interpret "Death" quite literally in this panel.

I don't know about "A" and the Japanese IXA, but "IX" looked like "14" to me and others, and it fits with Kaneki's countdown.
The last number Kaneki spelled was "21", did you know? [http://vatoto.com/read/_/269222/tokyo-ghoul_ch140_by_anonymous/13]

The same goes for "13", it looked and still more like "9" to me and some others.
Some says "9" fits with "14" in the panel.

...

I would agree on IXA and its Japanese writing, but "13" is a bit too hard to support.

I wouldn't say that "9" is that much of confirmed...

It would be also ironic if "14" also takes after "IX" and 9...

I didn't say anything about "14". I know that this chapter is all about temperance. (And yes, there might be a "14" there, but since it overlaps with "IXA", I didn't highlight it. And no, the "14" is not IX itself.)

The same goes for "13", it looked and still more like "9" to me and some others.

How does that one look like a 9? People started mentioning the "9" because they misinterpreted "IX" as "9" (in Roman numerals).

The "1" from "13" has some circle of blood (up) that makes it look like "9".
While the "3" may be the link between "9" and "14",
and some says when both of them are together, they give a special meaning...

Oh, but this doesn't really look like a 9. It reminds me more of a 7 (and Kaneki was never associated with a 9 before, but with 7s).
7 -> 13 -> 14
Yeah, makes sense. That's what happened.

I looked at the image again and I think Ishida also wrote IXA in Greek letters in the bottom right corner (ιξα). I suspected that these patterns in the panel were letters, since they didn't look arbitrary, but they didn't look like Latin or Japanese letters. So I checked different alphabets and then found that these Greek letters match relatively well.

Here is something I don't think anyone noticed, chapter 104 page 8. Naki writes 11 on his cheek after he is attacked by Akira. 11 is strength and it means

  • Self-control — Being solid — Patience — Compassion
  • Composure — Stability — Perseverance — Moderation
  • Kindness — Gentleness — Slowness — Softness
  • Serenity — Comprehension — Discipline — Inner strength

from wikipedia.

Also chapter 133 page 5 after Amon throws "Kura" he does something and it disintegrate and comes back to him. When that start you can see an 8 in Kura, but I am not entirely sure about that.
