Ok,
there's 2 different way of reading translation directly on Naver, but for the moment both requires that you
- are able to access naver.com (are you? check http://comic.naver.com/webtoon/detail.nhn?titleId=131385&no=209 ).
- are able to access the overlays (access this https://315b119b258e4349a3e2ab73ec5bd76e14b77dc6.googledrive.com/host/0B837Z5TNit78TDBpVWhCamNOLVU/cheese-trap/71/no71p01.png for instance).
- are able to access the server that tells where are which overlays (for each webtoon). (access this http://feed.oddsquad.org/ , or http://feed.bumblebits.net/ which is the real host: mine).
If you can access those then you must choose whether you want a "simple" bookmark which you must click on each time you want to translate one chapter; or whether you prefer to automate the process and install the script locally (the bookmark download the script each time you click on it, then it disappear).
1°) The bookmark method
I cannot control the HTML of this forum, so no easy bookmark by drag and drop method.
- Create a bookmark (out of any webpage, it does not matter you will edit it)
- Edit your bookmark, and give it a recognizable name (overtooning is the script name, but you can go with whatever) and change the address to the following code
javascript:(function() { var oss_js = document.createElement('script'); oss_js.type = 'text/javascript'; oss_js.src = 'http://static.oddsquad.org/js/naver.reader.oss.js'; document.body.appendChild(oss_js);})();
That's it.
2°) The automatic userscript
- Install a userscript manager for your browser. https://addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/ for Firefox, or https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tampermonkey/dhdgffkkebhmkfjojejmpbldmpobfkfo for Chrome. Opera has a native userscript manager, but you'll need to configure it.
(- If you use Opera, create a directory somewhere and name it "Opera Userscripts", then launch Opera, and go to Menu > (Settings > ) Preferences > Advanced > Content > Javascript options
set the User's javascript directory option as your newly created directory)
- Access the userscript https://raw.githubusercontent.com/doonge/overtooning/master/overtooning.user.js - your userscript manager will ask you if you want to install it.
(- if you use Opera, you'll have to download the file and put it in the directory you created in previous step, the userscript manager doesn't do that automatically)
That's all
