Semi Comic Book - Volume #1

 

Hey everyone! I've been a lurker for God knows how many years and finally made an account a couple of months back. Today I'd like to share a Manga that my friend wrote and collaborated with an artist to make this come to life. She will be uploading Chapters 1 and 2 onto the site shortly and this post will be edited to include it.

Enter the world of Semi!

 

 

 

Semi tells the story of a little girl that goes by the name of Kajitsu Kura. Kura has always dreamt of being the leader of a powerful gang but before that can happen, she'll need to find members! She sets her sights on a seemingly timid boy with unnatural abilities, named Minoru. 
 

Sadly, he doesn’t seem too interested in joining her. Things only get more complicated when a handsome stranger, who claims to be her father, and a God appears. He wants her to be his Sentinel: an individual employed by one of the four Border Gods to police the Human Domain. They hunt down and execute any being that possesses Nakara* blood.^{*Nakara are humanoid like beings that possess the blood of the four creator Gods: Human, Angel, Demon, and Beast.}
 

Semi is a captivating tale full of memorable characters! The story is of a serious nature with mature themes, harsh language, bloodshed and plenty of action! 

This is a team effort between myself (author) Nezumi and (artist), Eudetenis. This Kickstarter is to fund the printed version of the first volume. This book will be 200+ pages and standard manga size (5.5x7.75). The project is expected to be finished by early December 2014 and printing being done in April 2015. In order to provide you with a high quality book, funding is needed and appreciated!

I can't even remember how long it's been since I've been on MangaMagazine........or I guess it's InkBlazer now. There are a number of OEL's I like on that site.

I love the story, its well drawn and the story is fantastic but what is up with the typeset?

Hopefully if I can, I'll be able to buy a copy for myself!

Also Please post if there's a new chapter on bato.to, I want to read more!
