joker has really underestimated the straw hats and its really funny that all of them are there right under his nose.

I hope that they will be able to destroy the factory and drive doffy out of the country, but that Luffy won't beat him. It would make it too unbalanced too soon. I mean, they just entered the New World but he is already able to beat someone almost at admiral level, who defeated Law while only getting a scratch? would mean that there isn't really any room for growth, and although he is going to become the strongest sooner or later, it's still too soon as of now.

So i'm just going to put this out there. Before Sabo showed up did anybody think that Luffy was gonna get Ace's fruit, eat it even though it was supposed to kill him and we'd have to go through some awful explanation about why he survived and became a rubber flame man.

I thought the same thing actually... and what lead me to that is the process to turn soft rubber into hard rubber (like car's tires) involving high pressure and heat. But it's not garanteed the mera-mera will go to Sabo, my earlier guess was Sanji (because he already get part of his body in flame when fighting).

 

But Sanji ,along with Zoro, are the only crew members who save the devil fruit user from drowning...

There was a pic of Luffy's fists in flame, it'd be delish and absolutely amazing if Luffy gets the flame fruit but you never know.

In my opinion, there's two possibilities for the future based on what happened so far. One would be that Luffy gets the fruit but that would make him unable to fight properly for few chapters, that usually happens in an many of the arcs and comes at the end even more powerful. It is plausible based on how Oda makes the manga. It would happen if Doflamingo fights Luffy... cause of Mingo's abilities has wind wires that can push people away for miles, thus bringing Luffy near the fruit, Luffy didn't eat in ages and his starvation would make him stupidly hungry. That's how I assume it might happen.

 

The other possibility would be if the princess ate it. Why? Cause there's all out battle royale and her perception/evasion haku is absolutely amazing, even Luffy was amazed how she instinctively evaded Cavendish's mad all out attack.

 

The recent chapter meant that all the people turned into toys are back, that would mean all the fighters in the arena. I bet that Cavendish would go absolutely zerkers for being humiliated and so the other fighters, they might wipe out some of Mingo's officers. Plus, the old guy entrusted the army to Luffy as a repayment for recovering his sharp head. Plus, if you consider the army's soldiers, the civilians... that would make Tora hesitate what to do, he seems the type to put civilian safety before anything, as he only sides with Mingo cause to avoid the least damage to civilians but when he sees the civilians siding with Luffy and king Riku, it can change the situation. Also, marines were also transformed into toys... they can also be "evidence" of Mingo's betrayal, Mingo asked Tora for concrete evidence.

 

The new chapter really changed the situation and in the next chapters will see the results of that.

 

 

Also, I reread one piece just now and paid special attention to the bonus front page as they usually serve as spoilers. I have few assumption but the bonus front pages with Eneru on the moon, saying "moon city ran out of resources so they went to the earth", I think that would be a deep plot in the future that would tell us about the hidden history. The same way with Hachi and few arcs later we see Hachi again based on the bonus pages. The moon people might be the nobles, cause they look like ugly aliens usually... lolz

The moon people might also be the people with "D" or something related to that.

 

We might see again CP9 and even more powerful based on the bonus, that would be interesting. I'd like Luchi to join Straw Hats, he was a bad ass beast.

 

The other thing that caught my attention would be the girl Alsia from sky island... she seems to have an OP ability since birth. She can sense people from all over the island, where and what is kinda happening. Remember that Eneru could only do that using a combination of his DF powers, a thunder sonar with mantra/haku... while Alsia could do it on her own without any DF powers, she could use haku since a baby. Well, one thing's clear.. it'd like for the little girl to join the group.. she could of gotten really powerful in the last years or she might be another hidden weapon of destruction. Cause a weapon of the sea, the princess - poseidon.. weapon of the earth, human made pluton and the other one. All assumptions.
