So, after finishing the anime I've been wondering about that, and some thread on reddit says that the reason is mentioned later in the manga, but I cannot find it. Which chapter?

Thanks

Something about disk fragments, iirc.

only connection i see is that dfragging is slang for the automated hd maintenance process of defragmenting disk segments

  • Location....good question.....

I seem to remember it being one of those word-plays that only horrid engrish could accomplish. It was both de-frag in computer terms as reference to what the club was and de-flag in the sense of dating sim terminology.

P.S. I also seem to recall Bleach was called Bleach because of Ichigo's hair color. There's a small story segment where he talks about how people were always giving him shit for having "bleached hair" because they didn't know it was natural and thought he was doing the delinquent thing. It has absolutely no relevance to the story and doesn't strictly have any relevance to Ichigo either since that's his natural hair color. Regardless, the title is meant to refer to Ichigo himself and Kubo decided Bleach was a better name for it than Strawberry.

If this was called 'S-frag,' then I'd say that it shattered sanity to fragments, since there isn't a single normal person in sight within this manga, but the whole d-frag thing eludes me as well.

Maybe it is 'demented fragments?'

Because its release schedule is roughly equivalent to how often you should defragment your hard drive.

So weekly?

...

I think the naming is just bad and miss the real meaning ...

this should named as "The Flags" ...

not only just love flag, flag which cause all event ...

this quite suitable with MC life, not just filled with harem / love flag ...

but also FULL OF EVENT ...

Death Flag, first chapter was basically a bundle of death threats towards him.

Lol I always avoid this manga because I’m thinking it’s a “stuck in a game” one. Something about DEATH-FRAG! THE DEADLIEST FRAG OF ALL FRAGS! It’s caused by the (completely unaware) user defragging the hard drive. This obviously leads to tons of fan service as well.
