Any video games based on this rank up type mechanic? That would be really cool even without Rou's ESP ability <Absorption>.

Fire Emblem has a similar 'rank up' system (that is, the humans' rank up system, not the monsters').

I don't think Pokemon is what I'm looking for u/notjapanese. I like the premise used here in Re:Monster, and want to explore it in a game...


Fire Emblem has a similar 'rank up' system (that is, the humans' rank up system, not the monsters').

I could be wrong but I thought it was specified that the monsters use the Rank Up system and the humans use the Job system? (If I am wrong, let me be clear in specifying that I'm referring to the monsters' system.)

They get multiple Jobs. And their Jobs can "rank up" to superior jobs, just like how monsters can rank up to superior forms.

The human job aspect is like Elder scrolls: Skyrim. The monster evolution aspect... "Evolve"
