Most of the new chapter uploads on the front page within the last few hours aren't loading at all and giving me the 404 error:   https://www.dropbox.com/s/p4bxh7wyrvvx882/Screenshot%202014-06-20%2000.45.26.png

The 404 error is only happening with the newest uploads and takes a while before it shows, I've cleared my cache and my ping tests to the image server show 0 losses.
Getting the same issue on both my phone, laptop and two desktop pc's. Issue persists across chrome, safari and internet explorer :https://www.dropbox.com/s/7jfuw4joql11ngi/Screenshot%202014-06-20%2001.02.19.png

I'm guessing this is an issue my side since I don't see anyone else complaining about the same problem, any ideas as to what I could do to test if the issue is in fact my side, or how to fix it?

i just tried reading a new chap and i got the same prob as u,  though i must say i was redirected to an auto-installer some player  i didnt know before, so i blocked it

Some manga appear on the homepage already, but are not viewable yet. Im not quite sure what causes it, but usually waiting half an hour clears all the problems

Im sure someone else can give you the technical or thorough explanation soon.

Ye problem is the issue is happening for chapters that were uploaded over seven hours ago. I tried a whole bunch of things and no fix as of yet. Kinda doubting the Issue is my side. I'm off for today though, hoping its only a temporary issue and it sorts itself out eventually.

I found the error:

The issue is with the loading of the images from "auto".

Click the gear icon next to the page number on the reader and switch to either Image Server 1 or 2 (both work fine).

 

The fact that both of the image servers work fine, but loading from "auto" doesn't work is weird...

If I choose to load from DE or NL server, it'll say that it load from Archive 1. But If I choose auto, it'll say that it load from Archive 2. I'm not sure what's with this 'archive' and the 'server'. But it seems like if it choose to load from Archive 2, it's not possible for those new chapters.

Perhaps, just perhaps, Archive 2 will actually capture the file from Archive 1 later, so it's not actually updated in real time?

Anyway, choosing the server seems to make Batoto load from Archive 1 which appear to update in real time.

I dont have any of the problems you guys mention. As my default works fine as well as the other Archives.  I also have ads on ~ Everything works fine for me.

looks like maybe archive 2 isn't working. auto took me to archive 2, and i couldn't load images for any series uploaded in the last several hours. switching to archive 1 worked it out though.

Same here same problem. For like 20 something manga in the last 3~4 days.

Thi images in the latest chapter (62) are 404ing.  Changing the download settings (the "Reader Settings" gear icon) to either "Image Server 1 (DE)" or "Image Server 2 (NL)" fixes the problem, but leaving it at the default value of "Auto" breaks it.  What gives? I'm using Firefox on a Windows 7 machine, FWIW. Did anyone else detect the same problem?

US img3 (auto) and EU img2 are affected, switch your reader to other server and it should work.
My mistake.

Select any specific image server (open reader, click Reader Settings and select any server (not Auto)).
This will solve the issue.

Seems the image server 3 is having an issue, which is part of auto, but you weren't given the option to pick (until now).

Edit:
It should be fixed now. Also re-syncing lot of files for the img3 server so it is compatible for very old stuff (that's why the option to pick wasn't given). The re-sync should take like a day...

I remembered that those "archive 1" and etc identifiers are completely outdated. Updated them. ^^;
