I'm just wondering why you felt the need to lock this.

I'm also curious,

As much as I find the words of this man detestable, warped and senseless, others should be able to at least see this fact for themselves.

I would implore you to provide a detailed explanation as to why this series has been locked.

Well, for one thing, it's apparently licensed.

Yes, I know that is not as exciting an answer as you might have expected, but there you go.

I suspect it was locked because a moderator or an administrator was afraid that someone would complain to one of the companies that advertises or serves advertisements on Batoto.  If so, this is an example of the chilling effect of self-censorship by website owners who are afraid of losing the revenue stream from advertising.  Batoto does have a general rule against posting material that is derogatory to "any race, religion, nation, social status, gender, or sexual orientation", though there is no apparent restriction on posting manga that contains such material.  The only restrictions under media and content deal with pornographic material.

The fact that this may be licensed doesn't matter, unless the uploader tried to post raws or a direct scan of the licensed translation.

Could you provide a link please I can't seem to find anything other than that east press have had translated versions of other manga interpretations of historically important documents but nothing specifically about Mein Kampf

Don't think this manga is Glorifying his acts

it's given in the description as " learn along History " more like an Educational strip on historical figures.

This was Locked for obvious reasons, wish people would not be so sensitive...

It somehow feels like your first and second paragraph contradict each other. :/ Are you arguing for or against the series?

If the reasons are so obvious, too (which I don't think is quite true), surely they can provide them on the comic page.

You can ask about those things here: https://vatoto.com/forums/topic/18321-not-sure-about-a-comic-ask-if-appropriate-here/ It's much more likely that a staff member notices and gives a reply there

Mein Kampf is basically Hitler's promotional material. This comic is based on Mein Kampf. We do not want to spread that ideology in any way.

Oh come on, you do realise that this book is being re-sold in Germany again since recently? And that country has one of the harshest laws regarding Nazi stuff. How is that "spreading ideology"?

But what do I complain, there are other sites where I can read this manga.

edit: ah damnit, didn't realise the last reply was from almost 2 years ago.
