Okay, so here's a question. There's some manga I wanna upload(not saying which!) but according to the group's credit files, all the volumes are supposed to be read as one unbroken narrative chapter. That's right, the mangaka deleted the contents page and removed all chapter titles and breaks. Should I join up all 3 volumes?

For pony!!! :D

Miseng is supposedly the Prince of Zahard and thus, a trap. SIU, you've completely outdone yourself this time. :D :D :D

And I'm very sorry, I just rarely accept friend requests these days. I don't really do Facebook friend requests. Maybe next time. :P

Even though I like TOG, I have no favourite characters. There are only characters I get attached to, for the moment and some traits I adore, just for a while. In the same way, there is no character I hate or dislike. I may get annoyed, angry and so on, for a while.

I moved this out of QA forum into General Comic Hosting questions.

And honestly, I'm confused. Typically, the publisher adds the contents page. The mangaka would not remove chapter titles, they would simply not write them in the first place. Was this published as chapters first, then later the author changed her mind about the tanks?

If these are books/tanks, which is what I'm assuming this is, they were almost certainly published in separate volumes, so it should be fine to upload volume-by-volume.

But overall, I'm just confused. Also, I don't know why you need to keep the comic name a secret; knowing what's going on is sorta essential to resolving your (apparent) conflict.

Oops, here we go. Yes, this is weird... they suggested lumping all the volumes together... uhh which I'm not going to do, after all. That's 700 over pages in total and I've no desire to wade through those many pages.

In the original Ikki magazine chapters, Ryuguden had chapter titles and proper breaks in the story (there is a makeshift table of contents at the very end of the book), but these were removed for the tankobon publication. In the spirit of keeping this continuous, unbroken narrative, we recommend that you put all of the eventual chapter releases together and treat it as an unbroken volume, when it is complete.

I have seen it broken up into volumes and chapters on another reader, maybe you could use that as a guideline?

For all those thinking of thanking me for the scanlations, I only upload them, and I'm just a mod here. Please leave a message on the actual groups' pages that do all the hard work.

I think volume-by-volume is fine.

Honestly, I think this obsession over chapters vs. volumes is getting silly. Do what seems right. "Right" is going to change based on every comic and every situation.
