Spain O.O

 

Netherlands were brilliant to be fair. High pressing, quick counters. And for once Spain's midfield let them down big time. Static and very little movement. They don't have the pace in the team to play a wide game and yet their midfielder's all sat back. It was weird. I think they wanted the fullbacks to bomb forward but it just didn't work. Van Persie and Robben were brilliant.

 

Reckon the Dutch and the Germans should be made favourites for this one.

We just won 1 match, not sure if we should be favorites already xD

the dutch played really aggressively! so glad they won! that win was delicious

 

i rooted for cameroon vs mexico. i had high hopes for etoo and assou-ekkoto -__- i'm disappointed. dos santos' first two goals kept getting denied by the referees lol, so hilarious.

 

that dutch goalie was a cutie too :<

nobody finds him a cutie in holland though xD

There's a perfectly good reason why you keep hearing and seeing it everywhere. It's only for a month once every 4 years. It is also the biggest sporting event bar none. 

 

I really don't get what the fuss is all about. Yesterday I went to a friend's house (he comes home once or twice a month), and he decided to watch the game last night. I decided to inspect the carper I've seen a thousand times, the plain wooden doorknob, those plastic thingies you put under a glass. I think a blank screen would have been more interesting.

I really, really don't understand the fuss.

i really don't expect anyone to understand what the excitement is about if they don't even take the time to pay attention to it.

I didn't pay attention to it because it's so boring. That doorknob and  the carpet were more interesting. That's the reason why I looked at them.
