Are there people in this land that is no land? Or are there only individuals? Does it matter?

All I can say, and it's probably wrong, is that this land seems somewhat... Hmm.
You know, it almost reminds me of a (78.&8)- without '97)&!589)@... But that's a bit silly, and doesn't match the trends of some of the other clues...
There is a sun, yet no light?
Is there brightness?
I think I'm getting too many different and conflicting images of this place, if it really is a 'place'.
Was it mentioned that the object themselves don't matter, but the relation between them do? Am I just unintentionally constructing false memories?
Am I allowed to use posts in this way, or does that interfere too much with the Q&A nature of the riddle?
