I think I have figured this out, it seems rather insane though. The Black King is Jesus. I find that to be so funny I can't stop laughing.

Yes...I think he is Jesus also..Healing his wounded troops and the food miracle were a dead give away. Ironic though Christ has become Antichrist, what are the odds of that. Some people are gonna be pissed!!!, cheer up just a manga.

It's kind of obvious especially after the omake with him.
Which omake? I don't think I saw it.

He got holes on both of his palms representing the nails that held Jesus to the cross.
Yeah, he's clearly Jesus.

Also the fact that he destroyed shops is a reference of when he kicked the merchants out of the temple and the fact that he shared a room and that he looks like Johnny Depp are references to Saint Young Men of Nakamura Hikaru, where he is on a holiday on Earth and he lives with Buddha

also it perfectly fits with the secular/historian view of Jesus who was actually a revolutionnary set to install a new egalitarian rule over everysingle living being. he tried to create a new religion( even tho in actuality he wasn't the one that did but others, many years after his death ). Everything else is mixed-in-powers he was believed to have and an analysis of the world-view and philosophy he could have held. it's obvious but it's awesome.

Has anyone considered he may be Osiris? I mean Egyptian eye, Osiris was crucified in one of the legends by the gods, king of death (can both heal and kill with his powers), can rejuvenate crops and seeds, God of Transition (dragon fly is the symbol of change), Osiris can die, was killed by his own brother ,and in the legends he taught the Egyptians how to make their culture and language.
And yes I know he is fictional but this is also a work of fiction so it could be.

Actually I believe it is Saint Peter.
1. He died following in Jesus foot step.
2. Rome and humanity betrayed him because he was nailed to the cross just like Jesus but then he was hung upside down.
3. He performed small miracles like Jesus and it is often said he is the Rock upon which Jesus build his church.
I think the similarity to Jesus is a Red Herring. People would think Jesus but many forget Peter died following in Jesus footstep.

Probably not. There are some references in the manga about specific wonders which were done only by Jesus such as the bread multiplication. I have also considered Saint Peter, but Jesus fits a lot better into the monologue about trying to be a saviour.
