The Faiien Scans are now accepting applications! 

 

To apply, simply make a new post with the following information 

•   Name 
•   Contact Information (Email, Skype, or Batoto, although email is preferred)
•   Position applying for
•   Time Zone
•   Availability
•   Previous experience?  
• Scroll down, get the test for your desired position, and send the finished test along with your application to us

Example: 

 

          Name : Jasmineflowertea   

          Email : ******@gmail.com

          Position: Cleaner/translator

          Time Zone: Eastern

          Availability:  Monday through Friday

          Previous experience:worked for two groups with several releases. 

          

We're accepting applications for ALL of the following positions: 

• Raw Providers 
• Translators ***must understand either Chinese or Japanese! 
• Cleaners
• Typersetters 
• Quality checkers

*You do not have to use your actual name

** If applying for translator position, must understand either Chinese or Japanese 

 

Proofread/QC Test

 

Please download this file from MEGA. The file includes both raw and translation of 10 pages from an unreleased chapter from Tounan Kadobeya. As a proofreader/quality checker, please take notice of not only the grammar and spelling errors but also the cultural context of the manga. 

 

Please proofread the translation and change the color of edited sections to a color other than blue or black. 

 

Email the finished test to [email protected] with the subject  [Test] along with your name.

I'm not sure if I'm suppose to make a new application, because I'm already in the team. But just encase; I'll post in here.

•   Time Zone: GMT -6 or CST
•   Availability: Weekdays from 7-9am and 12-2pm 
•   Previous experience? : I am currently working for otome scans, misty rain scans, and Shirayuki scans. So yes, I have experience.
