I was vectoring oriki and he looks fatter than usual. It's the face fault. I missed up on it D:

It's actually really easy. After you vector, you can just blur it out so it looks like it's some time of lighting source or different shading tone.

I use both Illustrator and Photoshop. I use illustrator to start off the easy parts and then use photoshop to blur out the tone of the vectoring. But Photoshop usually used for photo effect. But like its different for each person. Most people use photoshop to vector; I just like it to do the easy way.

I only have Sai, but i can try out some vectoring sometime, since it does have a vector layer

sai is way too advance for me. But hope it turns out well. Just keep practicing on it and you might be satisfy with what you got

That is correct too. But Photoshop can use as vector as well but it'll be more advance like using Sai.

And of  course I can. Bare with me with these steps that I'll explain to you.

1. Open up photoshop
2. Click File > Import > New Frame Layers
3. Open up the folder with the gif images, and type in your file name.
4. Once it show the name like "Example.gif"; click on it and click open.
5. It'll freeze for a minute or two, then it'll show a frame box; asking whether you want to have it start from beginning to end or only some of the layers
6. Click whatever you want, and then click okay.
7. A new file will open and your layers have a bunches of layers; as well as the animation frame will also be displayed at the bottom of your Photoshop.

And you just edit on your own from that point. You can also put it into a group folder so you can drag it to another file.
