I thought they were quite popular but I haven't found any mention of them at all!
To start of a conversation to with anyone who does/has play(ed) it, what's your favourite vocation and/or monster?
And which game in the series (+DQM) is your favorite?

Hopefully, we are thinking of the same series here (8 is journey of the cursed king or summat and 9 is sentinels of the starry skies?)

8 didn't really have vocations... but in 9 I really liked playing as an Armamentalist and Marital Artist.

Rapthorne in 8 is one of my favourite boss fights of all time, but I haven't actualy finished 9 yet, so I can't say I prefer that fight over any in 9 yet...

DQ8 is definitely my favourite, but I've only played 8+9, so I can't really claim any expertise on the series...

Lastly I have played DQM: JOKER AND DQM:JOKER 2

Torneko is my favorite vocation! Hero and Sage.

Favorite Monster would probably: Metal Slime

Favorite Attack: Metal Slash or Attack that has Multiple hits with Low damage but high accuracy.

  I've only ever played DQ9, but my favorite vocation in that game would have to be the Ranger.
