It's cute & I'm really enjoying it... but there is something about the girl thats slowly working it's way under my skin. Maybe I'm reading into it too much. I can't help thinking there is no "margin" with this girl.

Every successful relationship requires a LOT of unconditional love. The cute thing about this manga is that the boy seems to have enough margin for both & it's fun to watch her be surprised over and over by his capacity to love her. But in any sort of realistic scenario his "account" will eventually dry up and she'll end up a frigid and bitter adult. This manga could go from cute to GREAT if there is a measure of character development to address this.
