Hmm, yah but ushio is not hated by his father and he isn't locked away as a disgrace of the family. the boy only wanted to go to the outside world because his family would'nt let him to and that is what destroyed his family it wouldnt have happened if the father wasnt such an ass****. he deserved to die,

but yah, the basic concept is the same. he freed a demon under his house. but tora is good and the other one is evil... perhaps?
