I've been trying to access the Advanced Search function for several days now and for some reason I'm not able to limit my genre choices. I've tried from multiple computers and mobile devices and none of them work. Is there any explanation for this and am I the only one having trouble?

It works fine for me.
Maybe the problem lays within the "Genre Inclusion Mode" . The default is And(which means all the genres you selected must be included) while "or" (which means any genres you
selected).
And function: works well only if you dont exclude/include too much genres.
Or works well for any selected genres you includes. The excludes one will be considered when it search during each separate genre...

I've been using the advanced search function for years now, so I know how it works. The problem is that I am not able to limit my genre searches, as in I cannot click the button. If I click the icon to the left of the genre, nothing happens. Additionally, I cannot use the info icon next to manga on the main page, as well as display more comics on the comic page. I believe this may be a software error due to some firewalls and whatnot. I will ask some other friends to see if it works for them. However, thank you for telling me that it is working for you. I'll continue to try to fix this.

Kuro, are you using noscript or some similar javascript-blocking addon? Both of those features require JavaScript to work.
Hearing that you can't use the (i) icon either tells me there is a very big chance this is a JavaScript related issue due to your browser. Try another browser to see if it works.

Sorry but remind me who you are again? Haven't been active in the forums in forever lol.

Yeah I'm investigating that.
My current hypothesis is that my school might have updated its software or something over break. We had a hacking incident which caused them to beef up security. I have a quite a few proxies at home, most of which I shall disable as soon as I get back. And my phone may not be able use Javascript or something.
All of this is assumptions, but I'm going to keep on looking into this until I find the cause.
Thanks guys
Edit: Used a different browser and it works. Who would've thought Internet Explorer could do something that Chrome can't?

Sounds like an addon issue.

I've been having a similar problem with this recently as well. I've tried using different browsers and different computers, even my smartphone but for whatever reason the genre buttons don't change. I'm not sure if this will help but when I use the "Inspect element" option in Chrome every time I try to toggle one of the genres the console responds with Uncaught ReferrenceError: genre_toggle is not defined.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I've already tried disabling all my extensions with no success.

That's very odd, since the function that I'm finding is "genre_toggle()". Note the difference in _ instead of -
It works for me this way in Firefox...

I am still experiencing this problem. If no one knows how I can fix this can anyone at least point me to somewhere I can? It would be very much appreciated.
