Just wondering but is Teo or could she really be dead?  She seems like she has a bigger role to play in all of this, considering that right now Gandharva is hardly in a state to calm down.  At this rate either he will be killed by a god/s or Teo will revive to save him.  I think after losing both Teo and Shakutala Gandharva has lost the will to live, he's probably thinking of a suicide rampage since it true that he doesn't have much left.  In other words, Gandharva needs Teo or at least Maruna.

I've been thinking about why Currycom would choose the priest of death to meet Asha and co, he doesn't seem to benefit Asha and co so much so why didn't she use another priest that would develop the plot more, could there be something?  Is there anything in Currycom's blog posts that might gives us a hint as to what might happen?

I really wish Teo wouldn't die, actually I feel really sad for Gandharva.  Is Kubera categorized under tragedy or something?

Well yeah, she's definitely dead. You don't get stabbed through the throat like what  just happened and live to tell about it.

But sure, there's the chance of a deus ex machina that has her being revived.........I mean we've already had at least one of those already, right? Still, speaking for myself at least, I'm not counting on it.  Often times "removing" certain  characters  is the impetus to advance the rest of the story.

There is no confirmed answer as of now, I think Currygom wanted to shock everyone and suceeded with it. It shows Kubera is not a happy happy story well.

When you like a character, it's very hard to accept their death and you'll be in denial. That happens to me as well when my fav characters in other mangas died.

The thing is. When the fire priest died Agni himself went down to hell, and fought yama to save her. So far this is the only way to save someone in kubera-verse. In this case there is no god that would do that (except maybe for kubera, with him you never know).  The only being that loves her enough to go to hell for her is gandy, and he cant open the gate for other words, nor is in the mental state for doing something like that. Also I read somewhere that Currygoon said that hoti visnu can't bring back a soul from the otherworld.

Basically we can count her death. Also, if currygoon somehow decides to revive her, in my opinion, it would make the story a lot less serious ("wounds can be healed and destruction can be restored,  "hoti visnu" is a reset button, and finally no one besides anata stays dead?") What kind of drama could a story like that cause? We would end up on dragonball world. Planets can be destroyed easily but in the end there is no danger at all, as everyone can be revived as many times as plot demands. Kubera has been steady and slowly progressing into a drama with bits of comedy, and it WILL culminate with the main character dying alone on a wasteland full of sura corpses, most likely after facing yuta and god!kubera. In a story with that kind of ending, you should be expecting a more serious development.

Btw sorry if im not clear at some parts, english is not my main language XD

It only means that Teo was an unfortunate person compared to Brilith because she fell in love with a Nastika and since nastika can't even revive a dead. Now that's tragic.  :batoto_011:   :(

I really liked Teo...and yes...she was the one capable enough to bring gandharva back to sanity....i dont think reviving her will change the  seriousness of story. and i personally think she will live....God Kubera hinted leez to make her mentor....he is GOD and can use insight or something...he he...just my wishful thinking ...i knw i knw... bt i really liked Ms. Teo.

I really, reeeeeally hope she's alive... I doubt it tho, after Gandharva turns into a massive whatever-that-is and with her being so near :(

But what really bothers me is what novanne said, why would Kubera God tell Leez to make Teo her mentor (uuggh)

I know it's all my wishful thinking but like you guys pointed out, Kubera did hint about Teo training Leez...  I think if someone doesn't stop Gandharva without killing him the plot will cripple.  Right now Gandharva is "insane", you can only stop him with force (unless Teo revives that is, I don't think Gandharva crushed her, he probably kept her body safe) stopping him with force leads to killing him and I don't think the author could do that since he is one of the main protagonists and still has a big role to play later on since the story practically just started in season 2.  Plus, have you guys read the raws?

Might I point out that the Earth Temple is in Kalibloom?  And, that it's not a million miles away from the Chaos one?  It's more than likely there was no actual Insight involved: just a guy who knows the people in Kalibloom quite well (thanks to Work being centred there upon occasion) making a suggestion as to a compatible training Master he happens to know about... :)

Even knowing the fact that the Ananta were getting ready to attack (he can't but have known), there was always the off-chance Teo wouldn't come out dead.  And, the very good chance that, even if she did wind up dead and most of the City rather flattened, not all of those belonging to the Fighter's Guild would be slaughtered.  Anybody she'd trained or been trained with could also help Leez, if she knew enough to try to find them with. -_-

Right now the story has three possible paths:
a) Agni kills gandy in the way you described
b ) Gandy has a really good, tragic and well written death scene.
c) Gandy somehow calms down.

Im rooting for option b.

Why does Gandy have to die?  I think he's still too important to the story to kill him off.  Since the real plot has just started in S2, and Gandy being one of the main characters him dying too early wouldn't make much sense or be significant enough.  Besides, Gandy dying in his smallest Sura form while he's terribly weakened and sulking after someone's death, not even putting on a good fight, that death would be even more pathetic than Teo's.  We should be able to at least see Gandy at his full power and fighting ability at maximum rate.  Right now people are getting wowed with just Gandy using one of his most insignificant transcendentals at his most weakest form since the beginning of the universe, just imagine what he can really do when his power is back, now that would be badass.
