This manga in my opinion has a better storyline than crepustule or more interesting than Soul Cartel.... But too bad it doesnt have the weekly update like the latter two.
it has more progress than Crespucelle though
that always feel very short, like 1/4 chapter every week

I'm a pretty big fan of Crespucelle, it's a tough call for me.. both comics are like my high-2nd favorites.
I think it's the authors writing styles, like if Mirchi was to write this comic then we would be getting a breif yet detailed back story on Rood for the first 15-20 chapters, and their would had been a 5 chapter 'miniseries' on Lidusis (if he turns out to become a main character, which I think is pretty likely). And there would be much more time spent on Rood and his 'friends' or Rood and the company he works for.
Adversely if Yong Yong wrote Crespucelle it would had probably started with Lark living with Angela and then it would work in some backflashes here and there, the main back flash probably wouldn't had happened until Angela died. And hell, by now Lark may had already succeeded with his plan that we don't even know about yet.
In terms of story so far Black Haze really doesn't have a complex one, Mercenary/Adventurer -> Job is pretty common. And while Crespucelle is only *slightly* less common, Orphan -> Magic World, it has a lot more character development (although, this may not be a fair point since Black Haze is so much newer).

I love Crepuscule and Black Haze. In my opinion they're 2 very different stories. They are sort of the same but not at the same time (Magic, Demons etc). Black Haze is more focused on a sort of comedy theme while Crepuscule is more focused on more serious/semi-serious matters in which are going on in the story. I really do love both of them. They will always be in my top 50 manga/manhwa. Hope everyone else feels the same

well unlike some of you Black Haze is my number 1 manga and Crepuscule and other tone of manga i read ( and forgort their name)are my 2-3 , also in black haze for some reason i feel connected to it unlike the other mangas i read that kindA exlude that point like a 'not about belonging' Literature book even though they're still quite interesting ~ that my opinion anyway

I really love Black Haze.. I used to read Crepscule, but I stopped as of lately. Idk, I just sort of lost interest in it, idk.
I'll agree about the releases tho. But then again, we should be thankful that we get releases at all.... thanks BAP Scans!~

Yeah i wish they update quickly but the creator of black haze is doing a truly good job because i for one love mystery and secrets with a touch of humor and what Rood is going through is the best, can't wait for when they find out the the powerful dark magician is in fact a fifteen year old (what a laugh that'll be) anyway the flow stream is also a good webtoon manga and right now the action is beginning so i recommend it those who haven't touch on it yet and AishiteruJae you don't know what your missing Crepusule is getting hotter by the minute and Lark too he got an awesome ability.

the reason why the update is very slow and the chapters are shot than ordinary webtoons is because Black Haze is a webtoon from the best challenge category meaning it is not like Crepscule and Soul Cartnal from the weekly category.
