I kept reading comments about how awesome this manga is, but I didn't understood it at all... Can someone explain it to me?

When did Keiko die? I thought for sure that Keiko would die when Suzuki bought the bat and went to the apartment after seeing how bad the apartment was when Kano arrived, but when he open the closet she was there? (Based on later chapters Keiko did die here and the Keiko from the closet is his imaginary friend?)

What about Higuchi, I thought she wanted revenge for her rapers, but that was not it... She wanted to find something, what something is she and Kano (at the end) talking about?

And during the last chapter, so Kano did kill Tanaka? And what the hell was he doing at the cafe talking alone?

Really, I didn't get this manga at all, so if someone please can shed some light so I can understand it better...

This is quite an annoying manga, its good though.  I can't say that I have the answers to your questions but here is what I think about it.

I believe you are right Keiko died when Suzuki bought the bat and stormed in the apartment.  It might not be enough to say that the narrator of freesia is unreliable but Kano's inability to differentiate between reality and his hallucinations seeps through the art.  When Kano came into the apartment, I felt that there was something different and strange with Keiko being in the closet.  But I'll admit I was convinced that it was fine.

It seems that part of this story or maybe the whole f this story discusses the something that both if not all or many of the characters in freesia are looking for.  To some extent I believe this something is a reason to live, to some extent the whole world of freesia is trapped in a cage dedicated to revenge.

As for the last question, I didn't seem to understand the ending.  This may be one take, Kano killing Tanaka signifies Kano being free.

This is what I think about the end, for what it's worth.  Kano "survives"  by somehow becoming his own halucination. It was established earlier that Kano can affect people's perceptions and make them not see him.  At the end, he manages to invert this process, making others "see" him, just like he sees his own halucinations.  That's what he means in the last few panels.  He exists only in other people perceving that he exists.  Higuchi was like him in that she was a sociopath, but she could not connect with others.  That's what she was looking for (connection) and why she was facinated by Kano.  It's also why Kano wanted nothing to do with her, as he couldn't affect her thoughts.  The war, I think, was an abstract representation of Kano's inner struggle, culminating at the end when he finally claims his own free will.

So, Kano's body dies, but he does not.  The last panal hints that by reading this story, Kano is able to continue on in our own minds.  Which I think he will for very many readers of this manga.

Keiko died when the crazy bat dude stormed in, he killed her while she was hiding in the closet that's where Kano found her ''alive''. That's why the police come investigate, because there was a horrible smell from her body.

About the rest I can't really say I understood completely, may take a couple of reReads to come to a conclusion.
