It only appears once, when you move it away from image and back on. I dont find it annoying really =_=(unless you move your mouse away every time)

I use chrome, and it appear every time I move my mouse with out moving an image.
As you mention before it disappear when I use firerfox, but appear every time I use chrome.
It took about 4 seconds for it to disappear, but will appear again after I move my mouse as I mentioned before.

Otonashi, this is called "mouseover text" or "alt text". It is part of the specification for making webpages; it was made primarily back in the olden days when connections were really slow (56k or worse) and images might not load or you wanted webpages to load without images. In those cases, you could still see a description of the image. Nowadays, they are usually descriptions of the image or extra comments about the image.

The way that the browser handles alt text is browser-dependent, and has nothing to do with what Grumpy can do. Firefox, I believe, has an option to suppress alt text; Chrome does not. The only thing Grumpy can do is remove alt text entirely, and I'm not sure if that's something he wants to do.

Actually, it's not the alt tag, it's the title tag. :P Alt tag shows when the image fails. Title tags shows when hovered. Though, old browsers didn't exactly follow this standard and lot of confusion exists around it.

I can remove it by simply removing the title tag, but I actually put it there b/c I thought people might prefer it. To remove or not maybe a question of consensus.

As for a solution, you can simply NOT put your mouse over the image.
