It seems that certain unicode characters literally break statuses.

clicking on Show all comments makes it go blank :/

Temporary fix: deleting faulty comment(s) - recognizable by symbols of question mark on a black background - fixes it.

Could you please stop going off-topic at least in support thread?

Every broken thread status so far has been made such by Kannade. I don't know what symbol exactly he uses, but I've pretty much identified all faulty ones and PMed to admins. You won't find me posting them on other people's statuses.

Okay, so as long as you don't go to overboard with the symbols your status remains safe... basically?

You can do that, but most of them is so obscure that you probably didn't even know of their existence. And if you ever use such a symbol by accident, you will notice it doesn't work - which is when you should delete that comment and post it again without faulty symbols.

Time to break every status before the glitch is fixed. And just to stay on topic, whenever I type it in and hit "Comment," I get a little notification saying "Null."

you would get it and it saying null? o_O weirddddddddddd

Example.
We get null instead of seeing our comment (have to refresh to see it).
Faulty symbols get replaced with question marks.
Deleting such comment fixes the status.

I don't think there's anything more to add.

Don't concern yourself with it too much, live normal batotian lives, wait for IPB to eventually fix it, in case of emergency delete broken comments.

That question mark is just replacement symbol. Completely innocent. Tested many times.

on topic: i just realized that there is this problem now. i thought locked status will immediately not show the comments since that locked status is the only status i saw getting this kinda problem.
