English teacher(not 100% it was english though) trying to get a higher degree in PE for a gifted kid , but the PE teacher is refusing , because several years ago he asked her for a similiar favor for a gifted basketball player and she refused. I know that the teachers are not part of the main cast , just episode related.

Did you watch the entire episode, or just part of it?  Was it a drama, action, or a maybe a cop show?  Did you see any of the main cast, or happen to see the station the show was broadcast on, because any of these things would help to narrow down the possible shows, so that it's easier to find the one your looking for, if your still even looking for the show.

If i remembered who were the main cast i would have found it by now , or the station that broadcasts it. However the only think reference i got in my head that was episode of Numb3rs , yet i pretty much rewatched every episode on reviews and found nothing like that. I think it was that show , because the english teacher is the one that was teaching the MC way back and she was the one that first noticed his brain powers, that is why he was asked by her to talk to the PE teacher as a favor as well.

If it reminded you of numbers, than did it look like it was made in the mid-2000, or that sort of looked similer to a cop show like CSI? When did you happen to see the episode, and was the show in primetime or did it seem like a rerun? Y`know, if your even still looking for the show.
