they won't tell you on irc as it's against their rules and I've tried cropping each picture and doing a google image search but it didn't help

Well looks like safebooru also has some of his works (not sure if it's all of em) so you can check there if you want to avoid the more NSFW stuff.

They should've spent it on Googling instead of wasting time joining our channel.

Besides, you're making it out as if our channel is some sekrit klub with an entrance buried deep beneath Atlantis. It's trivial to get into #extras to grab our zips, ask questions, or just chatting with us.

It seems they're images from Ishida Akira's blog, advertising various promotional images for the manga found in buying the volumes at different locations such as Comic Zin or Toranoana, etc...
