Can someone explain this to me? murderous stuffed animals and a random kawaii girl with an eyepatch? I mean this screams "follow" but I am so confused.

Well, it's only first chapter...

What I understood from the first chapter is that there are many cases of sudden deaths happening in the world, and the causes are creatures in the form of stuffed animals rampaging in an alternate dimension (?). If a human is "killed" in this alternate dimension, his/her body, the one in the 'real world', would become paralysed (maybe enter a comatose state.... or instantly die... Death it is :>).

 

The protagonist is a master of the art of sewing and has a special power, as he is a Kigurumi (Maybe a person who has the ability to act in the alternate dimension, and, in some cases, communicate with the intelligent 'beings of the alternate dimension' and are able to transform into one by merging with one).

 

The heroine is a survivor of a 'mass sudden death' incident which happened in her classroom, possibly committed by her 'friend' who is a candidate for an antagonist of the story, and because her eye is wounded in the other dimension, she has the ability to summon one of the beings from her eye (?) to help her fight the 'bad' ones and prevent sudden deaths from occurring.

 

Oh and, the protagonist has an imouto and the woman who said "unfair" and "trump card" is probably an associate of the heroine
