So, there was some discussion of Dokurou in the future...

I seriously believe it must be the teacher, Nikaido, for several reasons.

 

1)) honestly, there was that entire foreshadowing arc that showed Nikaido knows about hell. And if such foreshadowing wasn't used in the present arc, its gotta be in this arc.

 

2) Nikaido has the freaking skull.

 

 

 

However, in the future, there is also that perfection girl Rimyuel that kept kissing keima and who was partnered with Nikaido.(Chap 109) The biggest question is, who was that girl, and, given her foreshadowing, how will she fit into the plot? (I'm guessing she'll be central to the past arc) Furthermore, she says Nikaido can use her powers because of her (this foreshadowing is done so casually it is forgettable, so proof is shown below). WHAT CAN THIS MEAN I DON'T KNOW.

I like the theory that Rimyuel is Elsie's sister and Nikaido is her buddy better. It makes a hell of a lot more sense that way, especially if they're part of some sort of anti-Vintage special forces unit (and given their level of skill, handling a level 4 Weiss that even 4 Runaway Spirit Squad district chiefs together had trouble with, they're certainly something special). Having the Weiss detector (the skull) doesn't really mean much, since those are standard issue equipment for members of the Runaway Spirit Squad.

 

Just because Wakaki hasn't tied that plot thread up yet doesn't neccessarily mean he has to tie it up in this arc. Given the popularity of the series, I don't expect this past arc to be the last (and as such, there's really no pressure to tie up all the loose ends just yet). I'm sure he has a plan for that thread, so no need to jump the gun and try to tie together plot threads that seem rather unrelated (even more so since Human-form Dokuro doesn't even look like either Nikaido or Rimyuel in the slightest).

I kind of thought that past dokuro was the same as present day chief dokuro. but after chapter 250 it seems that past dokuro is someone Keima knows in the present, and I don't recall him ever meeting the chief. I think she could actually be nikaido myself. after she put that collar on, her appearance reminded me of Nikaido. I can't think of anyone else that she might be. either way It should be interesting to see how it turns out. the thought of having conquered your teacher before she was your teacher is pretty funny. but I'm not too sure about the age difference though, or how the little bit of Nikaido backstory introduced will affect things.

and the truth comes to light. Nikaido is in fact Dokuro. This shit is just oozing with plot. other mangas could learn a thing or 2 from this.
