Still 0 votes for ram, even taking into acount the fact that he's an AA mage (he just need to go back to the college to graduate) who made it that far without any use of complex math! That and the fact that he took a couple of chaos suras in the climax of season 1.

Maybe we should clarify what is meant with "badass" here 
Because there is a clear difference between cool or courageous - and just plain vile and evil...
In the sense of "cool" Asha would be probably the most badass for example.. But in the sense of just "badass badass" Riche or Lorraine or Hura would be pretty close candidates ^^
I mean, Hura is not very courageous, and not sure if you can call her/him "cool".. but clearly badass, you would not want to meet Hura in some dark place, that's for sure ^^ Riche is clearly just plain evil and vile - but at the same time weak and cruel and laughable.. and Lorraine is badass in the terms of exploiting even the closest family and friends just for her own profits >_> If that's not "badass" I don't know what else..
In terms of "cool badass" Asha would be probably on top of my list.
And then we have Claude Yui, not knowing if he is evil, cool, plotting something, just plain vile, or maybe a lone hero trying to save everyone..? Or maybe just messed up and who knows what he will do next?
And then, Ran is pretty cool in my book.. but I would not call him badass, neither in one or the other category ^^

Agreed. It's as like the other thread on ranking power. Too vague.
I'm happy to note, though, that I find the above responses very reassuring. Had this been another thread *cough TOG cough*, we would see many pages of back-and-forth spat about the use of force and have to call in the moderators to stop the impending riot.
