First of all, sorry if anyone had brought this topic before.

not that I like Edan, actually my fave characters are Enzu and Timeh.

I don't know if I got the wrong impression, but I think a bunch of people are underestimating edan's strenght a little.

I mean, hey this guy held his ground against that imba Edermask, and actually hurt him bad (not to mention that at the time Edermask was wearing that OP anti-fire robe, and still got hurt badly nevertheless).

And, here I am, finding myself reading some posts about how Enzu will get Edan pawned, will own Edan, or beat the sh1t outta Edan.

Well Enzu is my #1 character and all, but I still don't think he could beat Edan 1 on 1 just yet. I don't know about holding his ground against Edan, but I just don't think he could beat him.

 

Or, is it me who's got the wrong way of measuring their level? Need guidance. lol

^^ Wow, really? I don't know who's saying all that, but yeah, I'd have to agree with you, Edan's a suuuuper badass...........Enzu's no pushover, but "he's gonna own him?" That seems pretty far from realistic given what we actually know from the story. Granted Edan might be a little rusty from 9 years (?) in the dungeons, but getting owned? Nah, it won't be that easy when/if they go head to head.

Ya your right Enzu is no match for Edan.

 

I think he probably could have taken him if he had spent all those years apprenticing under Timeh the way Ethermask had intended. But just having his journal to learn from is a pail imitation, Timeh's wind cut was at-least five X's longer than Enzu's. Not to mention the (space time) cuts that Timeh could do they lingered in the air for a while shielding him from oncoming attacks. 

 

But he may be able to just barely scrape by in a fight against Edan with Matthew, Pierre, Molly, Kal, & Iremi by his side. Iremi has the wrong kind of magic to go up against Edan but in the fight against Suberino's Ethermask she used a powerful lightning attack. If her seal is all the way broken with no lingering side effects, witch I kinda doubt, then I think she can use magic from any element.

It definitely seems like a possibility, from how things look they've got a shared goal, that's for sure. Though it'd amount to disobeying Janus's direct orders in the case of Fenelia.........hard to say if she'd be willing to go that far, at least openly.

the thing i dont get is why Edan let Fenelia to toy with his Elvish GF... she must be amazing....

Seeing the latest chapter makes me think Enzu is gonna enter the hyperbolic chamber and crush anyone after that.

On the topic at hand, Edan is supposed to have been a strong opponent even for Edermask, had they fought. At least from Janus' point of view - that pretty much makes it a fact - so i guess Enzu would have small chances at taking him down if they fought as he is now.

I wonder if they've got a version of that in the world of Magician, maybe Iremi can put a magical "power up" spell on him or something
