Not sure what you mean by "strangest" combination.
Rapper & other artist?
Warren G feat. Sissel - Prince Igor
Bands with peculiar members?
Poparzeni Kawą Trzy (a band made up of journalists from Polish radios)
Songs with seemingly conflicting vocals?
Tristania - Angina (soprano voice + metal growl)
Mod-in-Disguise
You <3

well, it's an older one, but the strangest collaboration I remember was The Traveling Wilburys, just seeing Tom Petty teaming up with Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison was too weird to say the least.
Traveling Wilburys - Tweeter and the Monkey Man

Pop musician ft pop musician ft pop musician. I don't see how that's 'weird' considering it constantly happens...
OKAY, OKAY, HERE WE GO, GET PREPARED TO LISTEN TO THE WORST COLLAB SONG EVER:
Spoiler
Limp Bizkit x Lil Wayne is so disappointing. Not only does "We're drinking gins" sound like "We're drinking jizz," but nothing other than the guitar sounded good. Both of these artists need to retire AND I'm 3000000% sure that this song was sooooo terribad that it put Lil Wayne in the hospital.
Pretty much this, there's only one Wayne song I tolerate and I guess it fits with this thread's topic all though it's a mashup but...

I was listening to the radio on the way back from work today and I heard the new Stone Temple Pilots song with that dude from Linkin Park. I didn't like it at all.
