Let's see there can be werewolves genre, ghouls genre, zombie dramas? well there can be more improvements there seeing how the few good ones aren't coming out in the daily basis, gremlins genre with some cutesy crap, unicorns... wonder why it's barely touched? My little pony is a hit already it's due time Japan take it up too, fairies genre, monster genre, etc. etc. BUT DEAR GOD There's too much vampire drama squeezed into a short period of time is the feeling I'm getting!!! At least make it not associated with school life... IS THERE EVEN 1 VAMPIRE MANGA NOT ASSOCIATED WITH SCHOOL LIFE?! There's so damn much it can expand on, but yet it's always blah blah blah school life. OMG. I can imagine how the original authors feel seeing how their horror themed stories turned to high school crush of bs. I wish there's more vampire masquerade stories going on where different clans of vampire lays hidden in society, all still playing the game of thrones; building and destroying each other while climbing atop to rule the world. It should be dark and gritty... come to think of it if the Koreans go and work it out it'll be a huge another huge success seeing how the majority of korean mangas is fresh and somewhat original and, thankfully, never grounded to the whole school life nonsense... much. Ahem, now back to Noblesse. lol

 

I'm just ranting, still didn't read this manga yet, but I hope it's good. Seriously too much vampire with school life.

As you will see there's actually not that much school life in this manga .

we need more Monster manga that aren't moe-ized like Monster musume or that Centaurus no whatever the title was...

Why can't there be a hardcore action manga that involves the main heroine being a real Lamia (not clothed and more serpent-like) or

male Centaurs/Minotaurs as a MC or SC.

 

All I've ever seen like that were all of the hentai-genre...

Why is it that the hentai genre nowadays has everything better?

Better romance, better MCs, better action as a subplot, better female sidecharacters, more "realistic" demi-humans (aka "Monster girls") /sob

Yeah vampires seem to be highly watered down these days. Not many BA vampire stories out there, even vampires are looking weaker and weaker as time goes by.

10/10 I agree with this too much! Way too many moe, ecchi and lovey-dovey stories. These three things contribute to the loss in epicness of vampires.

 

Better MC is the first thing that needs to be fixed. Why is it that every single male MC is a weak guy that gets a bunch of girls because he's "nice."

Man I just don't get the manga industry right now.

 

Edit: OP, is there a manga out there without school life? XD

Seriously way too many school life stories.
